:: Nukualofa, Tonga ::

There is plenty to explorein Nukualofa, the capital of Tonga.  Frequently referred to as the “Crown Jewel of the South Pacific”, Tonga is the only constitutional monarchy remaining in this region of the South Pacific.  Tonga, comprised of over 170 islands, is well-known for its beaches, culture and beyond.

Tonga boasts cultural, adventure, and relaxing attractions and activities for your enjoyment.  Among the cultural attractions are the Tonga Royal Palace, the Royal Tombs, and the Tongan National Cultural Center, many places also offer Tongan feasts with cultural dancing.  In terms of adventure activities, be sure to consider: scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing (marlin, mahi mahi, and yellowfin tuna are frequent catches), sailing, kayaking, surfing and trekking.  If you are looking for more relaxing endeavors, whale watching, sightseeing, and beach time are all excellent options.
